🇲🇾 TRAVEL GUIDE: MALAYSIA TRULY ASIA 🌏





Inarguably, we all like traveling to a place with beaches like the Maldives, skyscrapers like Singapore, and hills like Scotland all in one place. If that's what you think, Malaysia is your way to go 😍.

ESSENTIALS: Before you pack up your bags, here's what you need to gather .

1- Covid test report 📝 prior to 48-72 hrs before the flight. It should be negative, though! You also need to be vaccinated 💉.

2- An umbrella ☂️ because it could literally rain anytime. Don't be SCARED because rains here quite intense, mostly thunderstorms with terrifying lightning.

3- Don't forget to have both warm and light clothes as temperatures in hilly areas are quite low, and the heat of some cities is also unbearable 😁.  

4- It'd be better if you have already booked an Airbnb or a hotel 🌆 before you fly. 

5- Uber doesn't operate in malaysia. So, download the Grab app instead.

 

THINGS TO DO:   Here's what you must try!

 1- DOUBLE-DECKER BUS, KUALA LUMPUR:

If you want to experience the panoramic view of the city, this bus ride around the city will fulfill your wish. The ride starts from the city center surrounded by the TWIN TOWERS and goes all the way from the old city to the slightly hilly part of the KL.


2- THE TWIN TOWERS, KUALA LUMPUR: 

If you are in Malaysia and you don't visit this place, why do you even bother visiting Malaysia? Surely, this iconic landmark filled with malls, parks, etc would enlighten up your Instagram's feed! Not to mention, it was the world's tallest building from 1998 to 2004.


3- BATU CAVES, KUALA LUMPUR

It is the TALLEST statue of one of the Hindu gods, covered with gold plating. It comprises 700 stairs leading to the cave, you need some stamina to visit this place! Be aware of the monkeys here as they'll always try to grab your food while you visit this place.


4- MASJID PUTRA, PUTRAJYA

The mesmerizing Malay-Arab architect personifies the beauty of this mosque. It is situated right in the middle of the lake next to the world's LARGEST roundabout. You better not miss the picturesque minarets over here. Also, if you are not dressed properly, the management will give you a gown to cover up yourself and respect religious values.


5- SCUBA DIVING, LANGKAWI

This island has one of the crystal clear waters in the world. Moreover, it is home to one of the diverse underwater species in South East Asia. So, put on your protective kit, and brace yourself to explore the untouched beauty of the coral reefs!


6- CABLE CAR, LANGKAWI

This 15-minute ride would enable you to descend from the peak of 708 meters tall Mount Mat Cincang down to the sea level at the beach. In your journey, you'll experience the breathtaking views of the rainforests, and waterfalls. Now you end up your ride at the beach, don't forget to miss the sunset!


7- GONDOLA CAR, GENTING

How would you feel if you were 1,800 meters above sea level in a cable car, which is fully TRANSPARENT and you can see through 1,800 meters below your eyes! Wouldn't it sound amazing? Just outside KL, you can experience this joy in the city of GENTING HIGHLANDS. 


 8- RESORT, GENTING HIGHLAND

Well, not all visitors are allowed to join the casinos, but you can still be able to explore this colorful world around the casinos. With a little glimpse of Las Vegas, you can enjoy a family-friendly time in the amusement parks (obviously around the casinos, not inside). This area is hilly, so put on your jackets.


9- LEGOLAND, JOHOR BARU

I bet, this place would be the kids' heaven as everything here; from rollercoasters to board games all is made up of famous Lego Blocks. And, what else do you want if your kids are happily spending their time?


10- THE FORTS, MELAKA

It wouldn't be a better experience, to sum up, your tour on a high note by visiting the historical sites. Melaka is a city with the diverse remains of Portuguese, British, Malaya, and Sub-Continental history. No surprise why this is the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE CITY. Historical sites like Afamosa, Christ Church, and Stadthuys must be explored.
